A Brief Biography

Hello, I'm Charles. Yes, I am based in the land down under, in Sydney, Australia.

Ok back to it, some years ago i had a significant moment in my life. I was working out the chords of a song

and then testing that arrangement against the backdrop of my stereo for the first time.

Everything was just humming so beautifully in synch, the vibration of guitar strings to that guitar on the stereo. Just wow! (maybe you had to be there). Apart from a song arrangement here was a path to a critical ear in studying songs and just perhaps improving musical presentation of music books, sheet music and tabs. Let's throw some colour in, go landscape, let's add in beat counts for guitar tabs and presto no more turning pages.

Pitching this idea to music publishing companies like Sony, Universal Music, Hal Leonard, Music Sales even Beatles management seemed the next obvious step right? To cut a long story short (and the years), publishing didn't work out. Despite great feedback, it is an incredibly expensive and prohibitive industry. This is why i've landed on YouTube. YouTube manages and pays all the royalties and licenses to the artists.

Great! So here we are to today and hopefully despite all the umms and aahs in the videos,this is helping some people out there. Which is awesome.

Q: Why Daisy Chains ?

A: Daisy is my momma cat. Her kittens are the Chains

Also back in the day (i.e the 60's and 70's) daisy chains were one of the symbols of the peace movement,

anti war sentiment, hippies as well and so it seemed appropriate.
